JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic / Installer to join our team at S3 Power Sports! Our shop is slammed with activity, and we need a dedicated professional to help us build, maintain, and customize high-performance rigs for racing, mud riding, rock crawling, and more. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assemble, install, and repair high-performance parts on ATVs, UTVs, SXSs, and other off-road vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure peak vehicle performance.
• Collaborate with the team to provide custom builds and modifications that meet our high standards of quality and safety.
• Assist with electrical work, including 12-volt wiring, lighting, and accessory installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Experience:

• Certifications from ASE, Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ford, Dodge, or similar are highly valued.
• Experience in 12-volt wiring and electrical installations is required.
• Proven track record of working with off-road vehicles, including ATVs, UTVs, SXSs, or similar.
• Familiarity with performance upgrades, custom builds, and aftermarket installations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with diagnostics tools and software.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

S3 Power Sports is seeking an Engineer proficient in 3D modeling (CAD, Solid Works), with mechanical expertise, and a background in suspension design. As our business experiences rapid growth, we're looking to expand our production capabilities and introduce new, innovative products to our lineup.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the product development team to conceptualize, design, and engineer innovative off-road parts, with a particular focus on suspension components.
• Utilize 3D modeling software (CAD, Solid Works) to create detailed designs and prototypes.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure the performance, durability, and safety of our products.
• Work closely with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production of designed parts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to inform design decisions and maintain our competitive edge.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling software, particularly CAD and Solid Works.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles.
• Prior experience in suspension design, preferably in the off-road or automotive industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Operate CNC Press Break, CNC Plasma Table, and CNC Laser Table machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow.
• Maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist in other production tasks and projects as needed.
