JOB SUMMARY

S3 Power Sports is hiring a Fabrication Production Manager to lead daily fabrication and manufacturing operations for our off-road and powersports product lines. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the people, schedules, equipment, materials, and processes that keep parts moving through the shop. You will work directly with fabrication, welding, CNC equipment, engineering, and leadership to turn raw material into finished off-road components. We're looking for someone who knows fabrication, knows how to lead people, and can keep a busy production floor organized and moving.
QUICK OVERVIEW
This role is built for someone with strong fabrication and welding knowledge who can take ownership of an entire production workflow. You'll manage the fabrication team, build production schedules, coordinate materials and inventory, oversee CNC equipment, maintain quality, and solve problems before they slow down the shop. This isn't a desk-only management position. You'll plan ahead, set priorities, and track production while staying involved on the shop floor and making sure the plan actually gets done.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily fabrication, welding, and production operations while managing the employees responsible for getting parts built. Assign work, monitor progress, train employees, maintain accountability, and adjust priorities as production needs change.
Production scheduling is a major part of the job. Build and manage schedules around orders, inventory needs, labor, equipment capacity, and company priorities. When something changes, make the call, adjust the plan, and keep things moving.
Keep CNC fabrication equipment and processes running consistently, from operation, setup, and calibration to basic troubleshooting. Maintain tooling, fixtures, processes, and quality standards throughout production.
Coordinate raw materials, components, and fabrication consumables while maintaining accurate production and inventory information. Spot shortages early and communicate needs before they become delays.
Work closely with engineering, R&D, purchasing, and leadership to move products into regular production, identify bottlenecks, improve workflow, and find practical ways to build parts better and more efficiently.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
The right person has strong hands-on fabrication and welding knowledge, preferably from an automotive, off-road, powersports, motorsports, or similar manufacturing environment. You don't have to personally run every process in the building, but you need to understand the work well enough to recognize quality, troubleshoot problems, and effectively lead the people doing it.
Previous fabrication or production management experience is strongly preferred. Hands-on knowledge of MIG and TIG welding, CNC fabrication equipment, press brakes, mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment is valuable. You should also be comfortable reading fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Experience with production planning, inventory management, ERP/MRP systems, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement is beneficial. Experience manufacturing parts for automotive, UTV, SXS, ATV, 4x4, powersports, or motorsports applications is a major plus.
