The OEM fuel rail is made from plastic with a long 3/8 SAE Male connection, which can fail under the torque of the chassis moving up and down. If the tip fails, raw fuel will spray all over the engine compartment which creates a severe fire risk. The EVP fuel rail is made from black anodized billet aluminum and is a 100% direct replacement with no other changes required. The aluminum construction virtually eliminates the possibility of failure. A Male 3/8 SAE ORB fitting is included, which mates to the OEM fuel hose without any modifications; however, the thread going into the rail is -8. This means the OEM fuel hose can be replaced with up to an- 8-size hose if needed. In addition, the other side of the fuel rail is also -8, which makes it easy to utilize a return-style fuel system, which is common on BITD/Score race cars. The EVP billet fuel rail has 30% more volume than the OEM which is very important with a short, dual injector per cylinder rail. This additional volume prevents the thirsty twin injector setup from cavitating under the high fuel flows that are common with E85 and big horsepower tunes.

Lastly, we eliminate the OEM clips, which are troublesome to remove and install. Instead, we use a single socket head cap screw and a flat, spring steel clip that holds two injectors at a time in the proper position for ease of installation and removal. Although not required for any stock turbo tunes, this option is highly recommended.
